Here at PCHC we us a combination of high-tech and standard equipment to help us diagnose any problems or changes to  your eyesight such as;

Zeiss Clarus HD Ultra-Wide field Fundus Imaging Camera: Is used to obtain photos of the retinae and the back of the eye. This helps us detect and document any retinal defects such as retinal bleeds, nevi (eye freckles), scars or other abnormalities.

Zeiss Cirrus HD-OCT: Is used to obtain images of the retina, measure corneal thickness, and other information used in diagnosing ocular diseases such as macular degeneration, glaucoma and diabetic retinopathy.

Zeiss Humphrey Field Analyzer 3: Is used to detect possible defects within your visual field and blind spots.

Cannon Autorefractor: It helps give us a baseline refraction which is used as a starting point for the eyeglass prescriptions. This type of device is commonly used in most eye clinics.

Non-Contact Tonometer: Used to measure the intraocular pressure inside the eye. High pressure can be a sign of Glaucoma, while hypotony (low pressure) can signal other possible risks to the eye.
